Reserve is a macOS app that helps you view your ChatGPT usage limits from your menu bar.
We designed Reserve to minimize data access and avoid unnecessary data collection.
What Reserve Accesses
Reserve may access:
- authentication information needed to sign you in securely
- account-related usage and allowance information needed to display your ChatGPT limits
- locally stored app preferences and session data on your device
How Reserve Uses This Information
Reserve uses this information only to:
- sign you in
- retrieve and display your ChatGPT limits
- keep the app working as expected
What Reserve Does Not Do
- Reserve does not use advertising trackers.
- Reserve does not include third-party analytics SDKs.
- Reserve does not sell your personal data.
- Reserve does not proxy your ChatGPT account data through our own backend or middleware for normal app functionality.
Third-Party Services
Reserve relies on third-party services operated by:
- OpenAI, for authentication and account-related data needed to show your ChatGPT limits
- Apple, for App Store distribution and platform services
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Local Storage
Reserve may store session-related information, preferences, and temporary cached data locally on your device. Sensitive authentication data may be stored using Apple-provided secure storage, such as Keychain, where appropriate.
Your Choices
You can stop using Reserve at any time, sign out of your account, or remove the app from your device.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
